Three historic, yet forgotten, buildings were transformed into this music-themed boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Bristol, Virginia. The dilapidated buildings showcased a myriad of challenges as they all were to be preserved per Department of Historic Resources guidelines while challenging the team to create a fully functioning hotel. Through a carefully considered design, The Sessions Hotel features 70 guest rooms, a restaurant with outdoor dining, an outdoor music venue, and a day spa.
